Data Visualization

Use the Data Visualization panel to bring attention to specific view elements and to push others into the background or conceal them entirely.

Choose a Class for Emphasis or Isolation:

  1. With the Viewer open, access the Data Visualization panel.
  2. Click the Create icon.
  3. On the Edit Data Visualization dialog, enter a Name in the field provided and expand the Class and Property drop-downs then choose from the available options. Click the Generate button then wait a moment. Some classes include many instances and may require some time to process. When the Label, Condition, and Color are populated, click the Save button to emphasize the class in the Viewer.
  4. Expand the Display drop-down and choose the Isolate option to hide all view elements that do not belong to the chosen class.
  5. Choose the Emphasize option to display all view elements as a background for the chosen class.
  6. Click the Zoom to Selected Elements icon to focus the view on the selected item.
    • Show – click this icon to display all view elements that belong to the chosen class
    • Hide All – click this icon to remove emphasis from all view elements that belong to the chosen class
    • Invert Display – click this icon to hide all shown elements and show all hidden view elements
